1 year anniversary

So it's been almost an entire year since Shank passed. Hard to believe. It really feels like I got that phone call only weeks ago. How do you commemorate the day? Do you celebrate the person? Do you mourn? In my case, I am doing what he surely would have done- running a ridiculously long race in preparation for my next marathon.
